A fantastic British break that had us truly relaxed from our hectic lifestyles. My pregnant partner found it most enjoyable and didn't even touch a drop of alcohol.

We have stayed at Darwin Forest four times now and have enjoyed every stay. The walks are incredible and the lodges are cosy and romantic. I would recommend it to anyone!!

Darwin Forest is absolutely amazing. Me and my 10 yr old son had the most fantastic experience. The cabin/the setting/the staff .... all outstanding. Missing it already.

I would definitely recommend this type of holiday to family and friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our break and found the park was kept to a very high standard with all facilities on site to chill out and relax without having to go anywhere, in particular if families have children this is a great break for all ages. We found the chalet we stayed in to be above expectations and were pleasantly surprised at the space and comfort in the 1 bedroom chalet we stayed in.

I would recommend this holiday to others because everyone was really friendly and helpful, there was every thing on the site, you didn't really need to leave the site at all. It was a really lovely, relaxing break and the cabin we stayed in was brilliant. You could sit, listen and watch all the birds just outside the door and all the wildlife was brilliant. It was just amazing, can't wait to return.

A lovely site in a lovely location next to a large wooded area, nice walks, our dogs loved it. Lodges were nicely placed so were not overlooked and were lovely and clean. Great amenities for children and an on site pub/take away. Only downside was that we couldn't get a mobile signal at all but this could be an advantage. Would definitely recommend this site to others.

An outstanding place to visit! The facilities are excellent both onsite and in the lodges. The park setting itself is beautiful. I will definitely be returning.

We found this park excellent for just couples as well as families which is a welcome change when you have no children. We took our two Yorkshire Terriers with us who had an equally fantastic time and we found the park, lodge and facilities very dog friendly and the dogs were welcome at various attractions within the local area which is also made a nice change. We would recommend this park for couples as there are many facilities for you to enjoy such as the swimming pool, spa, crazy golf and tennis.

Really relaxing holiday, in superb surroundings. The accomodation was excellent and the couple of small problems we had (light bulb burnt out and fire not working properly) were dealt with within minutes.

We recommended this park to family and friends as soon as we got back home. We loved the 'log cabin' and enjoyed taking our pet dog Sprocket with us. The cabin was a really good size for 2 adults and 1 medium sized dog and was very well thought out. We were really impressed to find wood flooring, so it was easy to clean after the wet dog with the cleaning equipment that was in cabin. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we are really looking forward to booking a weeks holiday next year!

It was absolutely beautiful, and our lodge was stunning as well as cosy! The food in the restaurant was mind blowing, and has possibly the best pint of Bass in the country!

The pine lodges were brilliantly clean and excellently equipped. The surroundings were beautiful and it was a delight to get up in the mornings to see the many birds and squirrels parading just outside our lodge! It was very peaceful, yet near enough to explore the Peak District as much or as little as you liked. I would and have recommended this holiday to several people at work!
Miss N, Coventry, West Midlands

The location was very scenic located in woodlands ideal for walking, especially with dogs. You are only a few miles from the nearest town and easy distances to the attractions. The surrounding area is beautiful and the villages have loads of character. The lodge was modern, comfortable and very clean with all applicances included to use. The swimming pool was a reasonable size and the whole leisure complex was very clean, modern and a nice size. The holiday park had taken into consideration to be environmentally friendly where possible which included recycling facilities.
Mrs L, Stevenage
